Just a plain day of work!

Sorry – no pictures today. Today was a more boring day. I actually slept the WHOLE night! It felt real good.

I had porridge this morning for breakfast then went off to work. I worked on the internet for an hour then had coffee with Jeff and David for an hour. It’s really fun that we have such long breaks for socializing. I then worked on the computer some more until 12:30. Then I went to lunch. It has been another cold day: rain and hail and wind and all sorts of stuff. While I ate lunch the sun came out and I sat in the sun warming up!

After lunch I worked on interview questions and stuff. The church is making a time capsule and I am in charge of getting things to go in it these next five weeks. So I will be taking lots of pictures and video recording stuff and just adding lots of memories. I thought that it would be fun to include the children by having them draw what they think the church will look like in 50 years. So I had to e-mail the Sunday school teacher to see if she could fit that into her lesson plan.

I basically worked on that all afternoon. I saw that Jake was online, so we chatted for a while, but it was midnight in the US and 3:00 where I was so Jake couldn’t talk long and I was at work too.

I learned two new words/phrases:

1. “She has got a lot of good value” – meaning she is a good person

2. Car park – parking lot

I was finally getting warm in the office and Jeff yelled down the hall to pack up and get ready to go home. We came home and watched Deal or no Deal. I also worked on doing some laundry. There is no dryer so we have to hang up our clothes. For dinner we had apricot chicken with rice. I had a cookie for dessert.

I then watched TV with Jeff and Rosemary and did some computer work – letters and blog notes. Tomorrow is a ministry team meeting so I need to do a bit of research/thinking about the scripture for Sunday’s sermon. We discuss the Bible verse during the meeting. I am waiting for my second load of laundry to get done and then I’ll probably relax for the rest of the night, I am not in the mood to do a lot. Friday is my day off, so I won’t be posting anything else until Monday. Have a good weekend!
