I woke up this morning at 5 AM after a scary dream. I sang praise songs to fall back asleep.
WE got into work and I had again just enough time to check my e-mail. Its been hard to not have the internet all the time. Maybe that’s just because of my generation. At 8:45 I headed over to the Community Center, but they weren’t ready to leave. Finally at 9:05 we left for the train station where all the kids were to meet. We had 22 kids – 11 were going to the MCG and 11 were going to Disney Princesses on Ice. I was going on the MCG tour. We had 3 girls and 8 boys.
Our tour started at the National Sports Museum. There was me and another leader in charge of the kids. It was humorous for me to have the people at the museum come up to me and give me instruction about what the kids were going to do. I was the helper and Tammy was the leader leader.
The museum was very interesting and had lots of cool stuff to read about the MCG. I took lots of pictures. There was a section called Game on where there was a lot of hands on sports types of equipment. I practiced bike riding, and found out that I was out of shape!
We had a 20 minute lunch outside where the kids continuously asked me about America. They asked if we had pretzels and trains in America. It was a fun afternoon. After lunch we got a tour of the whole building. We got to stand on the MCG field, see the changing rooms, and all there things! It was great.
At 3 we made our way back to the church. Once arriving at the station we awaited for the children to be picked up by their parents. While waiting, some extremely drunk men came over to where we were waiting. I got really really nervous. I really dislike being around drunk people. This man and his 4 friends were hugging people and trying to get people to come drink with them and trying to give girls their phone numbers. I was scared for myself and for the children. Once all the kids were picked up, we hurriedly got out of there.
Jeff and I headed back home. It’s a really cold tonight. Like I was shivering and everything! For dinner we had sausages, potatoes, and corn. It was really good. I was hungry for something warm. After dinner we watched some TV. They were in French, so there was English sub titles. The show was sorta gory, but ended well. While watching TV I worked on my MCG pictures and typed up my journal.
I like the "Passout/Entry" sign. In America, we'd probably feel like we should lose consciousness.

Did you hear the monorail at DisneyWorld had an accident taking people to their cars after the fireworks. One driver was killed. A sad ending to a good day.
Intoxicated people can be scarey. Sometimes you feel sorry for them and sometimes they can be funny. In any situation, its not good for them or the observers who have to put up with them.
